Last summer Conor and I set off on a trip with my friend Becky. Her girls had gone to Michigan, like ourselves this month, Becky did not have a car that would go that far or even half way.
Becky offered to pay our gas and so off we went, until then the most north we had been was Springfield MO.
At 3:54 am we set out to pick Becky up and off to Effingham, IL.
Of course we needed road trip snacks and a nano, to play guess the song game.
We only made it the Thayer, MO before we had to turn around to take a picture. We found it odd you hit a worker lose your license. It may have been because it was still butt crack early.
Sunrise in MO. Needless to say Becky has heard of my OPTD, but never really saw it full force. Oh, you do not know what OPTD is, Obsessiveness Picture Taking Disorder.

Becky's sweet family who meets us halfway. Notice that Conor was not participating in the picture. I have a better one of him head on and boy he does not look 13, he had not quite turned 14 yet.

Sightseeing on the way back home. This was the best part of the trip, the Big Cross.
Made them get out and take a picture in front of the bridge.
Pulled into our drive way at 10:18 pm.
We had such a fun trip, Becky may never go with me again. She now understands what it means when they say, Sara takes alot of pictures.
This is a late post, we did this almost a year ago and at one point I made Conor get out and point and a road sign that had a Z name on it, because you always need one when playing the Alphabet game and now I CANNOT find it. Drat!!
