What Band does

What does band do? Band builds confidence in a 12 year old. Last summer Conor went to band camp and two days in he called wanting to come home. We convinced him to stay and see how the next day goes, the next day he was fine and wanted to stay.

This year, he left for Jr. High band camp with no idea who is room mate would be and hardly any friends. This morning it looked like there were more 9th graders than 8th graders.

Funny how this was the child that wanted to come home and now he has all the confidence in the world.
