With that let me now state the reason for the "hissy fit"," Eudy fit" or an "Aunt Jimmie fit" whatever you would like to call it.
1.The Dursley' s were not in HBP. Why not. It is clearly stated that Harry must come back to their house one last time and it is very important to the 7th book.
2. Harry arrives at the Weasley's. Another important part not mentioned. If these are dark times why was Harry just dumped in the middle of the field and not asked who he was. The whole first of the book was making sure you knew how to protect ones self from spells, charms and Death Eaters.
3. Christmas. What was this scene about. No where in the book was it ever mentioned that Harry and Ginny knew about the love for each other and further more no one ever, EVER, ran out to chase down death eaters. More than that The Burrow catches fire and is destroyed. Please who thinks this stuff up. The producer, dumb head, said this was not in the book and he took a liberty. Stupid. I guess in his little head it was easier to burn down a prop then to hire an actor.
4. The potions book. It was never really touched upon other than it had notes and that it was important to Harry. Alas when it came time to be rid of it. Harry himself got rid of it. Not he and Ginny. And this is where they choose to have the first kiss.
5. Quidditch, I thought that dumb head had forgot what this was. This, This was where the first kiss should have taken place. On a wonderful high from winning the House Cup. But no. At least they showed Qudditch. And by the way where was a little bit on how Ron handled this. Some vague passing comment at the end is unacceptable.
6. Coming back from the locket search.
- When they arrive back the Death Eaters are already in Hogwarts and the Dark Mark is over head it does not come later.
- The arrive and Harry is told to get under the cloak and a spell put upon him. Not sent beneath the floor for Snape to find him. Please.
During this time in the movie everything is sweet and no one is in a rush all the school gathers at Dumbledore's body. Not at all like the book. You know the book, the book where there is a battle and teachers are hurt. Yea that battle. I guess we could not do that shot because of the fake scene in the middle of the movie.
7. The whole end of the movie. I mean goodness. No funeral considering this is part of the 7th movie. It just ended with Harry, Ron and Hermonie talking about getting the other Horcruxs. Did you notice that it was not even mentioned what the others ones were. This was prominent in the book.
I should certainly hope that 7 picks up with in days of this movie. Apparently HBP picks ups one week after Sirius Black died. Hmmmm.
Bye the way did you know that Ron and Harmonie are Prefects? Did you know that Bill was attacked by Greyback? Did you know who the Half Blood Prince was or did you even catch it and that Hermonie figured it all out? Apparation did you know this was a test taken in year 6 in Hogwarts?
On that note the movie was good. Conor enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as well. I just felt that some key points were left out. With that said is Twilight better than the movie, absolutely. Is the Left Behind book better than the movie, absolutely.
So, read, read, read there is more adventure in reading and if you decide to make a movie out of a book then do it right, dumb head.
Have a good Monday.
