The move....

Let us start with the measurement: the desk is 4 ft 9 in & 2ft wide, the hall is 3 ft wide and the bedroom door is 2 1/2 feet wide. Oh and the desk is 4 ft 9 in.

Now that you have all the facts lets talk about the people involved.

Darling Hubby: did not want to move the desk into the house to start with.
Wonderful Wife: we need a desk
Darling Son: wants to help
Brent: no where to be seen***

And so the story goes... we spend time on the lap top sitting on the couch and that gets old, so I had the bright idea, Derek did at one point a few months back, to move the desk from the guest room into the big room so we can all be together. Sounds like a good idea.

Re-check the measurements at the top. So Saturday we did it just hubby and little me. Now let me say this I can help move just about anything. And now that i do not type all day and everyday heavy things are no big deal. At one time it hurt my wrist to lift things.

Re-check the measurements at the top. It was not pretty getting the desk in and to get it out did not prove all that well either. We did it though with no yelling and crying. Which I am sad to say sometimes happens.

***Why did we not have another guy... we always ask Brent and he is always willing to help, he's a great friend but after 8 years and 3 moves and couches from garage sales and couches from the second story of a house and then the move from Church Street, all staires, the desk was pushing it.

On a side note. If the Williams moved to Timbuktu we would be indebted to help.
