He turned 13 over the weekend. He ate cake, opened gifts, enjoyed friends and family. He had a wonderful weekend. It seems like yesterday we waited and waited for this guy to enter our lives. He made is entrance late at night surrounded by family. Our lives changed forever at 12:56 am on a Wednesday morning but yet our lives are still the same.
While we waited for our blessing we worried about his kidney and prayed all would be all right. Now we wait and pray that we are preparing him for the world.
At one time I was told by Mr. Brian "how are you going to feed a baby if you can not feed a fish" now we can not keep the kid full.
Dad and son spent there first Thursday together watching sports and now they still spend there days watching sports.
We dressed little man in LSU clothes and we still today find the cool LSU shirts.
Over the years we decided what he liked, wore and listened to. Now he decides. Sigh...
We love him more and more each day.
Happy Birthday, Conor!!!
