We are so proud of the man he is becoming and the joy he brings us. Everyday is an adventure, we love you Conor.
He has been asking for a guitar for some time and in the past month has taught himself to play the first part of The Final Countdown on the piano. Saturday morning we went to the music store to let him pick out his birthday present, an Alvarez.
My favorite picture from the day.
We have a wonderful friend at work that has started making cakes and such, she even throws and decorates some wonderful parties. After spending the month trying to find a Star Wars picture for the cake, we always ran into problems, then it popped into my head a bowl of mac and cheese.
Oh my, did Rachel create something cool. Rachel and her mom practiced before the real cake was done, Rachel and her family were going to the beach so her mom did the actual cake. Amazing is all I can say.
As Conor put on Facebook, it's going to be a shame to cut into it..... but we did and it was good. Who knew fondant would taste so great. Cake is what is for supper tonight for Mr. 14.
