After all that this poor tree has been through Conor wants to climb it. It is my fault really, I made them go stand outside to see where I could get a nice family Easter picture in front of the tree. All Derek could say was take a picture.
Laffy Taffy and Sweet Tarts are not something we buy and never really think about it. We got these and Starburst in the mail for Easter from MeMa and all we do is eat and Conor and I "fight" over banana laffy taffy.
This week is benchmark at school and last night Conor said he could bring gum to school to chew after testing was done. Gum of choice Hubba Bubba.
Today being April 15 and the day that the Titanic sank I have this little snip it from the London Telegraph. We would love to do this, so if any one feels the need to help out let me know.
Bookings for the historic cruise opened today - exactly 97 years after the Titanic was lost - with the departure date set for early April, 2012. It will carry 1,309 passengers - the same number that sailed on the fateful voyage - on the same route as the Titanic, leaving Southmapton in early April 2012 before docking at the Irish port of Cobh (formerly Queenstown), where the Titanic made its final call on April 11, 1912. on April 14, it will arrive at the exact location the vessel sank some 100 years before, where there will be a special memorial ceremony between 11.40pm (when the ship hit the iceberg) and 2.20am on April 15 (when the ship sank). After the service the cruise continues to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where excursions include a visit to the Fairview Lawn Cemetery where 121 Titanic victims are buried, before finally arriving in New York. This sounds facinating, how does one save that much money for 3 people and convience your parents that they would love a drive to New York to take us there and pick us up.

OH MAN...THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!! You know, for a 12 night cruise, including airfare, that's not too bad a price. But, one has to book now and me don't have the moolah! But, that definitely would be one cruise worth taking. Hopefully it won't be haunted and have the same outcome as the one 100 years prior to it's departure.
