We had a little thing happen this morning. In the grand scope of things it's not a big deal however it's a BIG DEAL. Our DVR broke, gave up, went on vacation or it's just to hot to work whatever you want to say or however you want to put it... we have no TV till Tuesday.
We are going to rent movies. We are going to pick up Conor tomorrow and eat at Cracker Barrel and then enjoy the fireworks. Normal stuff.
We had some things saved on the DVR, things like this:
If you should ever get the time, please rent "Taking Chance" it stars Kevin Bacon as a Lt. Colonel in the Marines that escorts a fallen soldier back home. It follows the fallen solider from the time he arrives in America to his home town. Note have plenty of tissue.
Ahh Sheldon Cooper. We had two Big Bang Theory's the one above and the one where they are robbed and Sheldon moves to Bozmen, MT. Enid, OK was out of the question because no model train store.
I had some LOST, the final show, the enhanced pilot episode. Poor Conor had 20 something Dogfights and Derek, well he lost Paint Your Wagon. Ahh the horror.
Bear with me I know this post seems like we spend alot of time worrying about material things but we have noticed a pattern when young Conor leaves for weeks on end and goes to Texas. Big things break. We have lost a microwave, tv, cell phone and now the dvr.
I think it may be a Super Mario Bros for Wii weekend.
